IGS Symposium 2010 on Earth's Disappearing Ice — Travel to Columbus

All international air travel to Columbus routes to Port Columbus International Airport. The Airport is located approximately 20 minutes from the OSU campus. Columbus has non-stop connections throughout the U.S. with Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Minneapolis and New York connecting with many international flights. Delta, United, Northwest and US Airways have daily flights in and out of Columbus.

Taxis, shuttles and rental cars are available from the airport into the city. Taxis are approximately $30.00 USD from the airport to the campus/hotel areas. Eight rental car companies are located on the ground floor (baggage claim level) of the airport. COTA provides public bus services in the city. Please note that Columbus does not have a subway or rail system. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is providing round-trip airport transportation to their hotel for $25.00 USD. No other conference hotels provide shuttle service between the Airport and their respective hotel.
